About the role
A large food and beverage manufacturing company in Mount Pleasant is hiring for this role. You will take on the accounting operations for a facility, from weekly and monthly reporting through to balance sheet reconciliations. The role also supports internal controls and compliance, and protects company assets.
What you'll do
- Manage facility accounting operations, including weekly and monthly financial reporting
- Prepare budgets and carry out variance analysis
- Oversee payroll, inventory controls and balance sheet reconciliations
- Support internal controls and regulatory compliance, and safeguard company assets
- Develop staff and coordinate with operations teams and internal and external auditors
What you bring
- A solid grounding in accounting, including reconciliations and financial reporting
- Comfort with budgeting and variance analysis
- Familiarity with payroll and inventory controls
- An understanding of internal controls and compliance
- The ability to work with operations teams, auditors and the people you develop
