About the role
A large food and beverage services company in Mississauga is hiring for this role. You will lead an eight-person controllership team and own the general ledger, accounts payable, controls, tax compliance and government funding initiatives. The role is a 12-month contract.
What you'll do
- Lead and develop the eight-person controllership team.
- Own the general ledger, accounts payable and internal controls.
- Prepare consolidated financial statements and reporting packages.
- Manage the month-end close and external audits.
- Support budgeting and forecasting, and lead process improvements.
What you bring
- Experience leading a controllership or accounting team.
- Working knowledge of general ledger, accounts payable and financial controls.
- Background in tax compliance and government funding initiatives.
- Track record preparing consolidated financial statements and managing audits.
