About the role
A large personal care product manufacturing company in Toronto is hiring for this role. You will support the monthly, quarterly and year-end close and reporting, and help keep tax, statutory and audit work on track. You will also back up Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable as needed.
What you'll do
- Support the monthly, quarterly and year-end financial close and reporting
- Prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
- Handle intercompany accounting and purchase order accruals
- Assist with tax filings, transfer pricing and statutory reporting
- Support internal and external audits, and cover Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable as needed
What you bring
- Accounting experience at an intermediate level, including close and reporting work
- Working knowledge of journal entries, reconciliations and accruals
- Familiarity with intercompany accounting and statutory reporting
- Exposure to tax filings, transfer pricing and audit support
