A large wholesale motor vehicles and parts company in Toronto is hiring for this role. The Operations Manager leads distribution centre operations across the Cambridge and Scarborough sites. The role exists to meet financial, operational and customer service objectives.
What you'll do
- Lead distribution centre operations across Cambridge and Scarborough
- Develop and monitor improvement strategies to hit financial, operational and customer service targets
- Coach the management team
- Manage labour and carrier relationships
- Partner with the General Manager on priorities, action plans and investment cases
What you bring
- Experience leading distribution or warehouse operations across more than one site
- Ability to coach and develop a management team
- Comfort managing labour and carrier relationships
- Skill in building action plans and investment cases with senior leadership
