About the role
A large industrial machinery manufacturing company in Edmonton is hiring for this role. You will lead production activities for new product introductions, coordinating prototype, pilot and production builds. The role exists to get each product ready for full-scale manufacturing while keeping safety, quality and schedule on track.
What you'll do
- Lead production activities for prototype, pilot and production builds
- Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Planning and Accounts
- Develop and coach production teams
- Resolve launch issues as they come up
- Support continuous improvement and the transition to routine production
What you bring
- Experience supervising production in a manufacturing environment
- A focus on safety, quality and schedule adherence
- Ability to work across engineering, quality, supply chain and planning teams
- Skill in developing production teams and solving launch problems
