About the role
A large business consulting and services company in Morristown is hiring for this role. You will build and test data pipelines and work with business analysts, architects and team members onshore and offshore. The role also covers supporting releases and keeping pipelines running after go-live.
What you'll do
- Develop and unit test data pipelines using Databricks, Apache Hadoop and Spark
- Coordinate with business analysts, architects and onshore and offshore team members
- Support integration testing and user acceptance testing
- Support deployment and post-production maintenance
- Communicate project updates and escalate issues to engagement management
What you bring
- Hands-on experience with Databricks, Apache Hadoop and Spark
- Experience developing and unit testing data pipelines
- Comfort working with distributed teams across onshore and offshore locations
- Clear communication skills for status updates and issue escalation
